No Simo, watched on the t.v this evening. Some big accidents today

Thinking about Canon 70-200L 2.8, my 100-400L is a bit dull when the sun goes in

Also been thinking about the Sigma 70-200 DG Macro HSM Gti

What do you think?

I have the 70-200 2.8... Steve who waqs with me today has the 100-400, so will be able to have a direct comparison (excluding photographer error ) when Steve gets his pics online tomorrow.. hopefullly

Does no one read what I post re the 100-400? You need decent light for those to work, but with 1D MkIIs you can go mental on the ISO and get no real noise at all - I see these are all up at ISO400 and ridiculous aperture settings....

You could have got away with ISO200 on those shutter speeds, probably 100 as it happens.

The Sigma is a cracking lens for the money, almost on a par with the (twice as expensive) Canon version.
