Default Tyre recommendations for VTS alloys

I have a 1.1 Saxo which I'm about to change the wheels on for a set of VTS alloys I picked up on eBay. I was just wondering if theres a go-to tyre that is a popular choice on the forum here. I ask because I'm new to cars in general and would like to read your opinions first.

Thanks, and Happy New Year everyone!

A lot of people on here use to rate the rain sport 2 really highly, not sure if you can still get them. The khumo ku39 is a good all rounder good in both wet and dry for not bad money. The best money you will spend when you fitted the s wheels will be a wheel alignment no matter what tyres you get you will notice the difference.

Have a look on

Thanks for the reply and the insight there. I'll definitely be getting a wheel alignment once the new wheels are on my car, as it needs one right now anyway.

I still highly rate the rainsport 2's you can get them but sadly their numbers are dwindling now since the softer rainsport 3 came out.. still good tyres..

Pilotsports are also very good (stay away from t1r rubbish)
