Default Saxo Gearbox Information

Can anyone help me with the following questions about a Saxo MA gearbox. Was it ever fitted to the early new shape minis or MG? Will an early Citroen Berlingo gearbox fit onto a Saxo engine? What is the lowest final drive ratio you can find in a MA gearbox and fitted to what model.

No to minis or MG

Go and look at BE gearbox conversions.

Shortest final drive is an S1 Rallye gearbox, but as far as overall gearing goes you're as well with a 1.1 gearbox which are much cheaper to get hold of and just as "strong" as the rest of them despite historical forum bullshit.

A Version of the MA was used in the K-series Metros, but you'd be hard pressed to find one these days.

This might be useful information....

They had them in the 1.5d engined ones as well, but they're so hard to get.
