He made them mate. Looks like he used fibreglass, then covered them with faux leather.
They do look very nice, however, if you are wanting the most from the subs then you are best to build a bigger, ported enclosure, made from like 1" MDF.
As an example, 2 12" subs need circa 3-4cuft, which is basically the whole boot of a saxo, right up to the parcel shelf!

right ok, im going to see if bfuk can make me 2 boxes like those, i will have either 2 x 10' or 2 x 12' subs, if 12's will take up my whole boot then, ill go for 10's. i will be covering mine with fake leather also including the fake floor.

i bought the build from ebay for 150 delivered, that included middle bit, 2 boxes and false floor
a company used to make them on a weekly basis as they had moulds for them

I take it you mean to pack the box with?
Just rockwell insulation would do the job. But do wear gloves, as it is nasty stuff and makes you itch for hours!!!

make shore that you dont cover the hole in the bottom of the sub (pole piece) as this is what helps cool the sub when it is working hard.
