Default Lunch Recipes

Hi guys. Getting back into the health kick and trying to make it a lifestyle change and not just a fad. I've been sticking to eating clean but lunches are getting boring. I go to uni so I have to prep lunch the night before and take it in Tupperware. I don't have access to heating facilities. Any recommendations for lunches or a website with recipes listed?

Cheers

For a healthy lunch I like to fry bacon in vegetable oil, then generously cover the bacon in a strong English cheddar cheese.

Eventually the cheese will crisp up, this is when you put it on a fried slice and a buttered toast lid.

I've had them every day since dieting. Yet to see any changes but I'm confident it'll work.

Meat, greens and sweet potato.

Just keep swapping the meat around such as pork, chicken, steak, fish etc. and then do the same with the greens for some variation.

I eat it cold with a bit of pink salt on, jobs a good un!

When your eating green beans, asparagus, spinach or other bland greens you need that touch of salt, i do anyway brings out the flavour always liked salt though, but don't use enough to hinder my health.

And i'm on keto again so holding no water so it helps me even more right now.

Notes with the switching meats. I've just been having chicken and rice and chicken mixed through brown pasta with passata. This pink salt sounds the berries!

Where do you get this fancy salt Matt?

I pretty much live on meat and veg meals.. Beef, pork, chicken, turkey, gammon, cod, salmon..

If you're feeling jazzy, get turkey mince, cut a few peppers, and make your own turkey burgers, plenty of guides if you google.. Make your own burgers, and just have them cold at work in buns.. Can do it with any other mince, but turkey is the best for you

As much as I hate the place, the easiest high street store to grab it from is Holland & Barrett

Always good to vary your protein sources, get some salmon, mackerel, pork, lamb, beef, turkey etc. in there.

Boiled eggs are handy for snacks as are nuts and fruit dependent on your diet.

At the moment i'm cooking a lot of steak, peppers and onions, just season them and stir fry for 5mins. Quick, easy, healthy and bang on. And i can cook quite a large amount at once that splits into 2 or 3 servings.

Lean mince beer, some onions, peppers, chopped tomatoes and whatever else you fancy makes for a few decent meals to.

I eat anything and everything cold at work if i'm taking it in tubaware, cold chilli is not too bad

Not at the moment, pulled a muscle in my shoulder, then got my thumb destroyed at work.. Broken into about 4 bits, and nerve damage, so i've not been in about a month.. A month which has involved a lot of pizza shop, KFC, mcdonalds, and bacon
