Default Upgrading speakers

Got a £200 budget for my vectra, just wondered is it worth upgrading the speakers without a amp? Already got an after market head unit the oe speakers are alright but I want better sound quality. But can you tell a difference from just upgrading the speakers alone? Don't want to throw 200£ at it for no difference.

In my opinion its not worth spending anything on a vectra!

But anyway, yes I would say it is worth it. A decent headunit with a set of decent speakers will make a huge difference. Just depends what you want from it.

Upgrading speakers will definately sound better. But amping them will make them 100x better. Have a look on ebay can buy some pretty cheap amps. As long as your running stupid high power they will do you fine.

I have been suggested that I have a sub fitted and take the bass away from the speakers using the head unit settings and said it will give a much crisper sound with a nice punch from the sub. Apparently upgrading just the front speakers won't make s huge amount of difference compared to this... Opinions ?

Thanks for that but I actually like the vectra it doesn't need a part replacing every week like the saxo

The difference won't be as big just upgrading the front speakers as it would fitting an amp and running a sub alongside especially in terms of bass, its like with anything though the more you spend the better it will be
