Unfortunately, the car has an issue.
Since bringing it back from the garage, the ECU is playing silly buggers.
I'd barely driven the car 1 mile, when all of a sudden all power flew out the window. When trying to accelerate, it just made a 'chugging' type of noise and would barely pull away. I pulled over, rang the garage, and the chap said he had the same problem when he test drove the car. He said switching off the ignition / back on, resolved the problem. Indeed this worked... The car was running sweet, but then it did it again a few hours later. This time the engine management light began to flash - which normally means a missfire has taken place. I'll get the DTC reader on it shortly to verify. Bit of a bummer, as the plugs are very new, so it could be the coilpack. Hopefully it's just the ECU being spastic, as it's fucked up before and then made a miraculous recovery on its own accord.
With regards to the flywheel... I was expecting the idle to be shocking, but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference. I guess it's because the idle is already so shit!
The engine seems ultra-responsive now, with 1st and 2nd gear feeling like they pull considerably harder. Result! It's fun revving the engine in neutral and seeing the revs drop much quicker. Hehe.

id quite happily let you drive mine, ill also joyfully come for a ride in the passenger seat.
Since i lost the 6 all my confidence has gone out the window and without that i do not see it as a good idea to drive something that .. A. i do not have the means to cover if i bent it and B. would not feel comfortable to exploit it .
So yes dave i am a big bloody wus but i dont wanna risk it. Its enough fun watching it go around anyways.

My single plug did exactly the same after the conversion, it gradually sorted itself out over a month or so.

JP - I'm sure it will!
Alex - Indeed. Most gayness... Hopefully it will rectify itself like before.
Kev - If you're still up for helping me fit the suspension, that'll be the least I can do!
Jow - Wuss! Passenger ride it is then.

Resetting the ECU seems to make it fuck off for a while. Ive changed MAP, Lambda and MAF. Only thing next is coil pack.

Dave the car looks like a weapon.Im Sure if you were to publish a magazine on it, and pass it round, there would be some very sticky pages!
May see it in the flesh one day.
Maybe sort the ecu issue, dont want it to fail in germany
I have a 3 plugger mapped to 708's for sale if u want it as a get me home?
