Engine bay wiring
What wires won't I need on in my bay for my car ? I assume I won't need the carbon canister and the engine temp sensor as I'm using a 3 plug pred ecu ?
It's for a 8v turbo by the way .

Easiest way is to trace each single wire and double check if it's used or not. A total ballache but will tidy things up nicely

I removed (from standard loom/ECU):
3 x aircon wires
3 x immo wires
2 x carbon canister wires
Fuel cut off wires
Does the pred use OEM DLC or its own? if so them 3 wires can go too

No you can just run another wire/bridge them two. Obviously it means you wont have a fuel cut off however.

Data link connectors. When you plug in for OBD. Emerald for example you plug straight into the unit the plug inside the car becomes irrelevant for engine stuff. If the pred is the same you can take them out too.
