Feature Car Of The Month
Just an idea but how about a ''Feature Car Of The Month'' type of thing.
Basically all through the month people vote for a car on the site which they like and deserves a bit more notice.
Then on the first of every month the votes are counted and the car is chosen, then it gets a small part of the homepage with a link to the car and spec etc.
Only an idea.
Whats everyone think?

well now the e-garage is up and running, i suppose that there is a well ordered and archive-able collection of vehicles now that simo could tap into.
Although I'm no techno-computer-code-nerd so no idea how it could realistically be implemented - I'm just suggesting the source for the COTM.

only problem with voting as such on a forum is it becomes a popularity contest and not an actual evaluation of the vehicle.
also can potentially fuel more stupid e wars etc..

oh didn't read about the 'voting' bit.
I just ment like a feature on the main site or something... like what is already there now, just with updated cars, and it self updates as people faff around in their e-garage.

wont work imo, ,any of the really special cars people dont know about as theyre not updated much. Only ones that will win over and over again will be, with no offence intended, the e-celebs who are on here a lot and a lot of people suck upto

yeh totally agree with you ryan, maybe we could make it so only premium members vote for the feature car or even just a random one picked out every month.

Bringin in a biking forum into this, they have a POD "Picture of the day" wich is on the main page, people upload ther pics / send them w/e and the more favs / comments combined decides pod could be adapted for month, or somthing.

Was planning on voting on pwrigs polo.
Basically, you dont vote on a real magazine, remove the option on here.
Random e-garage sounds good.
Like the blogs.
Be good to have a random blog and random car on the front page of the site tbh.
