Quoting edit's

You know when you quote someone obviously that post is there etc.

Well if the original post is edit'd the quote doesn't change does it?

Worth trying to get it so the edit'd are changed in the quotes too or is it a waste of time?

The idea of a quote is your quoting what they said at the time.

e.g.

person1 : 1 + 1 = 3
Person2 : quotes person1 and says no its not its 2
person1 : edits post to 1 + 2 = 3
Person2 : looks stupid.

The idea of a quote is its word for word what it said when quoting.

although just realised i may have got confused. if peej means when you try and qoute an edited post you cannot qoute it as only the original post shows up then it causes problems

just tried it and my edit is included in the qoute so agree with paul!
