Well just got back from a very good weekend at JAE, at the East of England show ground in Peterborough.
Took about 1 and 1/2 hours drive to get there from Essex in our Convoy of 2 Supras. We got there about 12pm yesterday afternoon and got lost with the amount of Car clubs that there were and eventually found the mkivsupra.net pitch. There was about 67 supras when I got there and then more came Sunday morning. Eventually put the tent up and got to bed about 2.30am only to be awoken by the our events organiser at 7.30 with a bloody megaphone right next to the tent shouting at us.
to put the tents down, because we have got to get all the cars aligned.
Had to pay £12 for unlimited food and drink which was very nice, just Burgers, Stella, Vodka and more Burgers constantly over and over again..
Our pitch was sodden and needed life boats just to get the the Marquee.
Some very nice motors and a lot of drunk people
, which included Mud wresting and drifting remote control cars.
All the effort was worth it as we won the Best club stand there.
Overall a very good show, and heres some pictures.
Only used my phone so not of the best quality.
First arrived:
Dodgy sodden tent
Some of the aristo club:
Funky Power lets say a different colour certainly appealing.
Original Do-luck supra from Japan.
Top secret- wide body Supra.
This Video was in memory of a Club member who died last week in his Supra, so we had a Minute of continous revving of cars at 11am in memory of him, very fitting tribute.
