Default reducing noise

got this pick of my GF and on the blurred side there is alot of noise now the photo has been modified in light room unfortunatly i dont have the origional in light room to export but it was colour and a bit darker. but my main question is reduceing the noise (one when takeing) and also like this photo now i cant retake this photo so is there any way of "touching it up" i know it's a bad habbit and not trying to get into one..

regards

chris

TBh mate, i'm not too sure weather that is noise really. Looks like it's just been saved as a gif before a jpg. Noise tends to be grainy, while the picture above looks more blotchy.

You could always put a false background in, but nothing that i know of would help bring quality like that back to an image..

I hope you don't mind me having a play with the image, but heres what i came up with; I..

-- Reduced the dimensions slightly
-- sharpened her face.. then..
-- blurred the rocks slightly (This helped to hide some of the blotchyness)
