Default De cat problems!!

DE-catted the car today, has the cat and silencer in the centre, replaced it with a supersprint section without the silencer and still has the standard exhaust as still waiting for the delivery of that, however when i go over
3000rpm theres a tinny sound only lasts for about 5-6 seconds (but still annoying), sounds like something is vibrating in the exhaust... any explanations??!! will the nex back box take that away or will i always have that annoying sound

i had a rattle in my exhaust, think it was due to blowing at the joint, so i just use that putty stuff seems okay now...

not such a rattle as its not there when i pull off, itsa more when i hit around 3000rpm its goes tinny, might be the normal sound they produce, and it only goes for about 5 seconds then it stops!!!

i decated and got rid of the centre box on my vtr and got the same noise its just the exhaust noise they make around that rpm you can stop it with a more restrictive back box but theres no fun in that!

Wait till you get the new backbox and see.

Other than that i had problems with my old gear linkages hitting the ss centre section.
