Default Silly question

I have a MK2 Saxo using the MK1 manifold to decat it, would it be any louder if i bought a Stainless KamRacing 4-1 Manifold or change the tone at all, any more pops or crackles?

Just wondering if its worth spending the dosh!

Have more rasp, but if you already decatted i would not worry tbh.

IMO wont be worth it for the pop and bangs that you want.

Ive decatted it with a Mk1 standard manifold mate, so wont be any different sound wise? mine tends to be raspy around the 4k rpm mark, then the rasp dissapears higher in the rev range! it might not on the roadside, but certainly does in the car, manifold?

The sound will change with an aftermarket Mani as they are made of different materials that resonate sound better. The standard one is a bit heavy and as such soaks up loads of noise.

Above 4k you won't notice rasp as it becomes louder, a manifold is a decent investment regardless, plus they look great in the bay.

So worth getting myself a 4-1 stainless one then? Might have to be done!

Personally yes I say it is. Its lighter and lasts longer and non top of that sounds better.

Or keep your cheap due cat but not have the same noise.
