iPhone takes a while to charge, discharges very fast

My iphone 4s has developed an issue that has got worse over time.
As an example if my phone was at 70% on charge it takes about 30-45 minutes to reach 80% and it never used to take this long.

The battery seems dead as I can lose 10% with it doing nothing in no time at all.
my 4s is a replacement handset as the camera on my last one became faulty so they replaced for free but this one has never had a good battery life.

is it still in warranty? If so do a back up to itunes and take it to an apple store, they will offer you a repair or replacement handset in my experience

yeah but i hope they dont try to turn it on me, it was never as good as my old 4s but now the battery is ridiculous

yeah should be scott, it's not water damaged or anything i'd say it's mint condition it's just whats inside is knackered

get the gs4 ftw! just got it as i had the gs3 before (also good phone) cracking phone!

on the iphone side of things am sure apple will sort it out for you

I'm on my 3rd 4s from them now..

Need to go in again soon at some point, power/lock button doesn't work and the battery drains much the same as yours does.

I leave for work at 10 to 6 in the morning, battery is 100%, I get to work around quarter to 8 and I'm down to 80ish%. All it's done is sit in my pocket!

My 5 is like this. Need to get around to taking it back, mine will only hit 95% now and never 100%
