like a Limp mode im guessing to limit doing any damage.

it might be because of something simple like a heat issue.

sheesh just read throught all this and LOLS.

ok

1. djin is all about been flexable be it on cdjs/mp3 or 12inch
(its best to be good on all formats these days as you may end up goin to a club with cds or 12inch and find out they only have the facilities to do ther other one LOL) you take cds but find out they only have turntables (your fked already before you start lol)

2.vynil has a warmer sound due to mastering with vynil printing all tracks you will find are cut off at the top end around 12-13khz this is due to when records get older they get crackly and the crackles will sound stupidly tinny at say 18-20khz. another reason the audio on vynils sound warmer is down to heavier compression to increase the output dBs! Cds you can get away with putting upto 15khz at the top and still have nice clarity but 12inch forget it lol.

3.Regarding the amp. its over heated. you may find out in less then a months or so time a resistor will blow in it! if it keeps goin into protection mode!

Regarding 10min mixes..actually yes people post your stuff up as you may get a guest slot on my show as im relaunching it but on ETN fm (Ryan should know which station im on about) 3rd biggest online station for EDM after....... Afterhours and Digitally imported.

if anyone has demo tracks they think is good enought to been signed to a label then post them to me aswell

i was good years back, ive lost the touch and sadly dont do much now. ive had my opportunitys in the past and cooked it because of not having any confidence in doing it live apart from friends partys etc... so its kind of died now for me. i used to love all my trance and mixing, ill see if my sisters bf will post some of his shit up hes good at making his own tracks. we was gonna pair up because hes good at making tracks and im good at mixing and ideas, but it never ended up happening lol.

Btw Anyone in here that DJ's ever had an Allen & Heath..
Been looking at the xone 42 and it looks immense but can't really afford it brand new..
I've got the Xone:92 and it's an amazing bit of kit. Very clean sound and the filters are very good too.

Chances are you're red lining your mixer output and that is higher output than the amp is designed to take in on the Aux input (usually 200-250ma)

Reduce your mixer output and increase your amp volume to achieve the same overall output
