Rock Band/Guitar Hero WT (360/PS3)
are the instruments for the games interchangeable
i.e can you use the GH instruments for rockband game
and can you use the rockband instruments to play guitar hero.

Drums are different but everything else will work fine.
Rockband drums have 4 drum pads, whereas GH drums have 3 pads and 2 cymbals, so you could use the GH to play RB, but not the other way around since you will always miss a cymbal!

Yes you can, in guitar hero, it mods the fret board so that you have 4 pads to hit instead of 5
