my tv mystery
i have a grundig 312 inch tele in our bedroom but we lost the remote ages ago.
We have digital in there tho so was never a problem as we just used to turn it of by the button on the tele.
Last night went to turn the tele on and its like its on standby, red light comes on but tele doesnt turn on?????
now the remote is long gone so looking for it is a nono,
how can i turn the fucker on?

should be a switch on the side that canbe used for standby etc

if its an older tv it could be the power supply if the button on the front no longer works, i have to play with tvs at work, but only lcds hehe

On mine if i use the up down channel button on the side of tele when its on standby it comes on try that just means you have 2 get uop which sucks lol

do u not have channel + - on the TV as pressing one of these might kick it into life

no i dont lol, i normally use the digital remote to change channel ect.

was guna say down up button for channels...
how will a universal remote work...
dont you have to turn the tele on to tune it to it?

no u just put the code in the book into the remote,then just keep trying the standby button (tv has to be off anyway)
u get about 5 or 6 diff codes per tv/modle to try
try the last one first its useually that one LOL!
