laptop help

Hi folks I just got a notice on my laptop the first from I got it last year saying about activation but ive already activated the laptop when i first bought it. So now I cant use it because it logs me right back off again unless I put the proper key into the section.

Is there another way I can activate it as the activation key on the bottom has wore away and can only make out some of the letters/numbers and tried to figure it out of what I can see of the faded numbers and get nothing.

the make and model and serial of laptop is:


compaq presario v6000

S/N is CNF7411JGK

P/N is GT406EA#ABU

model number it may use is is v6642em

is there not another way tho as i use the laptop alot in my gfs for saxp and music production lol haha

ring up the manufacturer and say whats happening... alternatively just use a mates key...
