Cant delete off desktop
Got a few files on that saved on the desktop. You cant associate a program for them and you cant delete or move them anywhere.
Anyone know a way of moving them or deleting them?

"Cannot read from the source file or disk"
I'm guessing you dragged them off a usb pen or something like that? Try reconnecting the usb pen (or whatever else it was), then delete the files, or move them back onto whatever they came off and delete from there.

Right click it, properties, see if it's set as read-only, it it is then uncheck that box. Then delete.
Only other suggestion would be if it's got any related folders/ files like in your My Downloads or My Documents, delete them first.

Assuming its lost the link info (the location of the file). Try reopening them and when it cant find it, allow it to search the HD for them. Once they are reassociated (or not), you should be able to delete them.
