Default My Saxo VTS

Hi guys!

So the weather eased off for a bit earlier, and managed to steal my sisters camera so I got some pics together! Few nice shots, followed up with the nitty gritty bits of the car but nothing horrific

'Dad crouch down a sec so I can take a photo' *Jumps up*

Surprised at how good condition the wheels are in!

Didn't even know these little buggers came with it, bonus!

Slight crack, nothing major but will replace in time.

The buisness... needs a clean.

Little ding, again nothing major.

Some bad points in the paintwork.

Where some **** tried to break in (previous owner) this is my next fix on the list.

I'll be updating regularly when I get some things fixed and/or cleaned.

Looks a decent base, new door, new bumper and bootlid your away.

Apart from the damaged paint where the 16v badge used to be...

Paid £890 for the car, full years mot only failed on idle revs. Previous owner bought and fitted a new cat, so mechanically it's fine! But yes, quite a bit of work on the outside to do indeed. It was originally in a complete write off in 2006 (Previous owner denied it, but friends in insurance did some scoops) has been insured for the past 2 years at least and driven so everything's fine, just could do with some touch ups and some replacements. I was lucky enough to have to car bought for me by my Aunty (20th Birthday present ) so I've got enough wonga saved to start with the new parts.

Just ordered the two 16 valve badges for the rear quarter panels, and two carbon fibre style VTS badges for the door panels with the yellow 'S'. Lets hope with a bit of luck I can fix up where the goon did a ridiculous job of debadging it. Should be here Thursday, my day off too!

Alright guys, so I posted in another Thread that my axle was fucked (bearings collapsed, and was just generally knackered). Went up to Bristol to get it fixed, and after about 8 +1/2 hours labour, she was done! Bolts were seized, rusted and a bitch to get out according to the lovely chap who spent all day working on it
Bought the axle from axledirect, and it's all perfect, came with new Blistein shocks too which I didn't even realise Wishing I asked them to knock the torsion bar down two ticks, the arch gap as you'll see in the pics is not to my liking! But all is fixed, so can't complain!
Had a problem after though, thought the axle was rubbing/bearings weren't fitted correctly, but I scoped out underneath and the handbrake cable was rubbing my wheels, on both sides! Me and my Dad just moved them a little bit over, and cable tied them, maybe not a sure fix but perfect for now

I'm also in need of some new rear lights, if anyone knows any that go with posi blue nicely, or just any recommendations please let me know!

You can see where the Drive from Bristol to South Wales burned shit out of the cable.

Do these need replacing? Genuinely an honest question haha

Its an m12 threaded plug, so a proper dealer part. An m8 bolt and washer would work too.

Yeah, an M8 bolt and washer would do the trick, just don't over tighten it. You just want something to keep the water out the beam!
