basically going to do a ground up resto on it and get it mint, picked up a new engine and few bits off a mate (the chances a mate actually had a 2.0 injection engine and bits sat about in his way)
so took the engine out so i can crack on and at least get the car mobile, underneath the car is solid, i dont doubt its gonna need a bit welding here and there but all ive noticed from the floor is one of the swan necks is bust open which is really common on these, so thatll need sorting.
moved it to the back so its not in the way for now and cracked on-

not seen one of these about in years, and certainly not as good condition as this!
looks like it's in fine shape to crack on and tidy up, good luck with the project man!

cheers all i feel like a kid at xmas every time i walk past it, its going to be a slow process as i want it done right and im pretty busy with work, but once the other ramp and spray booth go up ill have a space for it/place for everything else and can start doing a bit more to it
not much has happened thus far, been advised to do the swan necks while the engine is out and i cant do those untill the other lift is fitted so thats stopped that lol
but i ave sourced some new boot struts.. the ones on have been knackered a while by looks of it (by this i mean it came with a handy broom shank in the boot LOL) and it seems the 106 bonnet struts are exactly the same size to replace, so that was an easy fix!
