VTR Cams - Saxperience

Hey,

Decided I'm going to keep the VTR for another year, wanted a 172 but I can't afford the insurance. So naturally I want to make the VTR faster...

What sort of price am I looking at for VTR cam? Would It be worth while?

Any advice appreciated,

hey pal

i have a cam that will fit your VTR for sale!

piper 270 cam
not too wild so wont need a remap but to get the most out of it you will!
also the idle wont be affected much at all
mine idled at 950rpm which is better than it would be std. with it in!

looking for £120ish delivered which is almost half price with delivery thrown is aswell!

i have piper 285 the cam the vernier pulley and a remap plus fitting cost me about £800-900 all together.

the remap is essential imo

mine vtr now runs 122bhp and thats without a decat or enclosed air filter.

what rotation is the cam though as if its wilder than mine you'll need springs and vernier to time it all up + remap!!!

with mine you can just plonk it in and bang in a new CS seal then it will run fine as its not a madddddd cam but you will still definately notice a difference!
