Even with teh update introcuding the tools which where missed in the previoud versions, i think i will still be jailbreaking my phone. There to many apps which apple dont allow.

Depends what your using it for, i found it usfull as now i can use my phone as modem, allowing my use internet on my laptop. Also got video recorder, gameboy emulator and playstion 1 emulator. Loads of stuff

version 3.0 and 3gs phone allows internet tethering anyway.
My apps include simplify, allowing me to listen to all my tunes, and my bro's tunes at work without taking up the memory on the ipod for when it's obscure stuff.
Mover, so i can fling photos to mates via bluetooth!
loving it but hating it at same time, you can't do anything whilst playing with the iphone i.e. driving!
so maybe it's good

basically if you have got vlc media player on your computer you can run it from your iphone ( if you got they payed version you can browse through all ya files on ya computer and play all video files from the iphone) so for me it works brilliant because i run my hd laptop through my tele so i dont have to keep getting up and pressing pause on the laptop or turn volume down ect.
