Default Saxo Rally Car with C2 R2 Max engine, issues?

I plan to fit my Saxo rally car with C2 R2 Max engine with cup gearbox what issues is there, looks like could be issues with exhaust manifold and gear linkage?
If anyone could shed any light that would be great!
Thanks,
Greg

You might best to contact somebody like GMC as I doubt many on here will have much experience of the R2 Max engine.

You could try PM'ing welshpug, he maybe able to help though

There are no issues. Cut the chassis and enlarge the exhaust tunnel to make the manifold fit if necessary or modify the manifold to clear.

c2 r2 is not that powrfull anyway --climed 180 but in truth near 160 you sure its max engine --would check carefully before spending loads of money
euc system wil not pass mot only real good thing is the slid lifters so it can revto 8k with no problems --you can build more power relativly easily on any tuengine --all depends on price --suggest you hear it running -and do a cylivnder leakge test before parting with loads of money --the best version has very short pistons + longer rods--which need changing very often -look for breathing _ cylinder leakage -- just be careful --the pistons if needing replacing are over £1000--
proper c2 r2 has a sadev 5 speed squential box as well

cup box sounds like an old 106 cup box --lots of variants
