maniflow
Anyone dealt with them??
Looking at manifolds for my 205 (tu5j4 engine) theres no manifold available and short of buying a piper ect and chopping the collector welding on half the 205 downpipe i thought id look into these
Im assuming theyd need a manifold to use as a base though or the car to see where it needs to go yes??

Just thinking of where the manifold lies... I would have thought that a stock J4 manifold would have been fine? Theres more room in the 205 bay to the radiator if I remember correctly and the 205 has a very similar wheelbase to the 106

Apart from the fact the 205 manifold comes up and over the subframe steering rack and then the downpipe comes from the same place as the xu engines on the back of he head
and theres less space to the rad in a 205 a lot more behind the engine for silly inlets though so no scuttle mods needed
Its not a case of what fits its a case of what would maniflow need to make one up as theres no point asking and them needing the whole car as itll be months till the cars at that stage and then i dont have a trailer ect so if thats the case ill.just modify something like ive said above by chopping and welding but it wont be ideal

My pal has exactly what you need, he has a 190bhp TU 16v powered 205 which has a modded to fit Raceland... dunno if he's selling it just now but he is intending breaking the car.

I know what you mean as in a standard 205 manifold, but youre not using a 205 engine. But trying to picture it in my head, surely its no different to putting a J4 engine/manifold/exhaust in an S1 106?

No because the exhaust has to actually go up and over the subframe
I know i canf use standard cars like jackmans (modified mani) and my friend dan (again modified mani) prove this theres pics in jackmans thread
I cant use a normal mani if i could why would i be asking this question???
