i used creatine for a while. And it really does taste like a fucking ducks arse. Basically what it does is stores water in your muscles. Making you look bigger, but not very toned. I used em for about 6 months and wasnt very impressed.

Be careful of overtraining though, sometimes feels like youve not done enough when actually you have, thus having a negative effect.
taken with pure orange is absorbed better and should be cycled 2 months on 1 month on ect
This is spot on!!! I'm a personal trainer and bullit has hit it right on the head!!!

Creatine gives you more energy when working out.

There's more than one type, the main 2 are:

Creatine monohydrate: The most common form. Can sometimes make you look bloated

Creatine Ethyl Ester (CEE): Has a better absorbtion (sp?) rate than monohydrate
and doesn't make you look bloated.

No its not a protein, some idiots even think its a form of steroids, its found in red meat and is natural. Oh and you don't really need creatine until after about a year of lifting weights and have some decent size on you. Just eat shit loads of food and lift heavy!!

Whens the best time for your evening creatine? after training before or during? is it like protein where your body kinda demands its to replace the nutrients lost in training?

your body creates its on cretine called creatine phosphate which makes your body recover from exercise (recovery time)
creatine in itself it just 2 give your body a bit more of it 3 help your recover a little bit faster and more often etc!

also your your doing a rep say a bicep curl when u contract your muscle, bicep, the muscle shorten and 2 creatine peices stick 2geter wheich gives u the bulk n your muscles do taking more on more creatine gives u more of these 2 help with muscle fatigue!

i wouldnt use it myself cuz of the weight it makes u put on etc!

i learnt all thei taking a fitness instructor course

(but cant u tell i failed spelling lol)

all the relivant info about creatine is in here. read through the info thats up.

I would not ask any of my clients to take creatine just for the record. You will find Instructors give different advise on creatine & its useage, that isnt to say that its any good though! Its nice to see fast gains, but IMO that isnt educating them at all & thats what PTing is all about educating clients, so they understand training & its effects.

ruddy your meant to take it after training, i chose to take before purely for phsicoligal reasons. (however its spelt) to make me think it was giving me a bigger boost to train harder, which i did.

creatine is not really any good 2bh. if you eat a good diet you will gain the ammounts your body can use naturally.

creatine only causes water retention, and so you will get cramps from dehydration if you are doing aerobic work.

i can explain more but that is simply it, you just need to eat right to train well.

and before any1 asks im an international athlete and compete at a high level so i do know what i am on about
