Wireless triggers - Saxperience

What sort of wireless triggers are people using?

I'm looking to get one this week for a job next week, currently have a Nikon D50 & an SB900 flash. I dont know the first thing about wireless triggers though so i need to be walked through it

It obviously has to be compatible with the equipment mentioned above & ideally give me scope to add another flash or 2 in the future. What sort of features are common on them?

Dont have a budget in mind atm so just throw up some suggestions if you would!

Cheapest way is to go to Gadget Infinity, and pick up the Cactus Triggers.

They're cheap, unreliable, but they do the job. Remember though, that you can only use them in Manual Flash mode!

yer i got pt-04's whuch are the same as cactus i think

loads on ebay

as ads says, cheap and shitty, but they do get the job done for £15

Unreliable meaning it doesn't always trigger the flash?

Manual mode i assume means i set the flash power manually, pre shot?
