HI,
My problem is that it is only the fan that does´t work. i have take a look at the fuses and none of the are broken. so i toke a multimeter and put them into the cable back of the 3 ways switch in the front and it shows 12v, then i toke a cable and wired 2 of cables together in the stick with out the switch. and nothing is working. so is it correct that it is my fan there are broken, and if it is how do i get in to that ???? because im thinking when im getting 12v through the switch it is not the wiring or fuse there should be the problem correct ???????????????

Saxo Heater fan and Heated rear window not working
I have just aquired a 1996 VSX Saxo this week with the above problem. Its been stationary so I am not sure about the power steering.
Following your thread , I have exposed the three connectors coming from the ignition barrel but the brown one has 2 thick red wires coming from the barrel side with only one thick pink one one the other side of the connector.
I've looked into the connector on the pink wire side and there is no second electrical lug present. In other words only one of the red wire is connected to the pink wire. The second red wire has no outlet
Everthing else in the vehicle is working with the connector open (apart from the fan and HRW) and and a lamp test shows a current flowing from the pink wire.
Appreciate any help
Also does anybody know which relays do what ?

Don't have two brown wire
URGENT HELP
On my 1996 VSX (HRW and blower not working) I don't have two brown wires from the brown connector and two reds on the other side.. I have just one orange on one side and two reds on the other . Both the reds are dead and the orange shows a current when the vehicle is running.

Right I have done this mod, checked fuses and changed battery and still nt working. So would it be the alternator or a relay?
