total heat heaped!! this mod worked great, took about 10mins to do , fired the VTR up and voila!! perfect. respect!!. after 2 weeks wiv out PAS this felt great. added bonus forearms like popeye now!! lol

this happened to me last week...i just splice cliped the two brown wires together...the left had side of the connection ...worked fine..took me 20 seconds...

took me bout twenty minutes cause i couldn't decide which way to fix it was the best either crimping or soldering

i cant find the two brown wires?
the two red ones are just hanging out but not connected to anything and i cant find any brown wires in the area???????

where do the wires go to so i can try follow them back?

Alright, so my rear demister, and heater blower haven't worked since I bought the car.
And the other day I knocked the keys whilst they were in the ignition and the car was running, and the heater blower came on. Trying this again a few times to see if it always happened or was just a fluke, proved that it always happened.
So this inspired me to have a look at how to fix it.
I did so and ended up joining the two brown wires under the steering wheel.
Now my demister works, but my heater blower does not.
All fuses seem fine.
Any suggestions?

Turned the engine on today and voila... the blower came to life too.
Now I know there must be some dodgy wiring.. but where? Which are the heater wires?

iv got all three problems aswel as the damn thing cuts out wen stopping and dipping the clutch, sorted the pas out but no luck with the blowers.
Tried the mod from here today and sadley it didnt work for mine......... gutted :-(

surely if you use this mod the pas, blowers and Rear screen demister wont turn off with the ignition therefore causing a flat battery?

i have only 2 of these problems. my power steering and rear demister wont work but my blowers are fine. any ideas what the problem could be?
