Default Race Batteries and fitting.

Yeh, I've asked before but looking for a refresh

Want to free up some bay room so looking to relocate to the passenger footwell.
What's would be best battery to use, It can be on charge when not in use but don't want it to let me down if i'm out or about or doing a long trip.

The oddessey 25 one is the one I have.

Get a ctec charger as oddessey battery are dry cell which sometimes dont take nicely to normal cheaper chargers.

I use a Ctek xs3600... Well price and good for an oddessey batteries

I have no stereo just some switches in the blank.

Guess fitting is relatively simple too, Just need to earth and run + to the bay pos via a kill switch.

I'm thinking of getting a navigators footrest and mounting the battery to the back of that, keeps it low and cable distance short.

Where did everyone source their parts?

30 looks like the sensible option then tbh, my brother has an odessey and after a day or two of not using it, it's always dead!

Hmm it shouldn't be like that they should hold vlcharge better than standard battery. Get a peak charger and just plug it in when you know it not going to be used for some time and just peak charge it.

But unless your brother has something draining it, it shouldn't lose it charge that fast.

Or it ran it totally flat which could or fucked it too.

Get a Ctek 3600 peak charger as it charges the battery and then keep it at it peak without damaging it. And has a adapter that allow to to just plug it straight in to the charger.

Makes life very easy.

Tbh guys aswell if possible i think fitting a battery cut off switch with these batteries is a great idea just so you know nothing can drain it.......depends on your situation though.
