jesus christ to some of the comments, if you want basically a 3m sun gun you can also buy the bulb for £50 quid. but you just buy the most powerful bulb going and it'll be fine you wont be using it long enough to heat up anyway.

Good work.
I use a basic led torch for panel inspection and halogen lamps when machining.
Advantage of the lamps i use is they give off heat so keeps you nice and warm lol.

I'm another halogen lamp user. Work just fine and keep you warm.
Brilliant idea though, I really like things like this.

whats the best stuff to get rid of the swirls? give the whole car a good t-cuting?

T-Cut isn't a good idea, use a polish with degradable particles, like the Farecla G3 advanced compound.
http://www.refinishsystems.com/produ...Advance-Liquid (Dunno if that price is any good, I use my companies lol)
Cool idea mate, bargain aswell! I gave a police officer a low down on his swirl marks the other day after he arrested my mate lol, told him it makes his car look awful and I'd sort it on his bonnet for £400 and then charge £80 an hour for the rest of it, apologized for the steep prices, but said it was because he was an officer.. (He was about to ask if I was insulting him but I jumped in with) Meaning I'd have to do a proper pukka job for you sir (cheezy grin).
Anyways, swirlies are annoying arn't then. Not bothered atm though, going to respray my bonnet black me thinks.
