Post Anglesey Trackday 11th December DISCOUNTED TO £95!!!!

Here's a copy and past of the thread I started in the North West region due to being unable to post in here at the time. I thought i'd copy it over to here so if anyone's interested you can tag along

Please still post in my original thread in the NW section and PM me if your going so I know who's going to be in the hotel the night before

Here's the details for the track day and the hotel in Bangor we could take over.

Anglesey's home page: www.angleseycircuit.com

The day I'm looking at going is run by Javelin Trackdays. It is an Open pit lane which means you can come and go on the track all day. This is good as you can give the car and yourself a rest or come off if you feel it's a bit busy for your skill level.

Here's a link to the specific day for booking: CLICK ME

It has most of the basic details but you will usually get a pack through the post that explains everything in more detail.

Heres a link to the hotel rooms: CLICK ME
The rooms are currently £20.50 for a double room so why not buddy up and save some more money!

So the day it's self is £95.
The helmet hire (if needed) is £10
The hotel is £20.50
Totals: £125.50.

Last time I used a tank and a half of fuel and had a few brews and some lunch which iirc was pretty cheap from their canteen. At a guess i think maybe another £10 on food. So for less than £150 all in you'll have a great day! even if it rains their is PLENTY of run off

Please post only relevant things in this thread. For general track chat can you post in Boony's thread:HERE

I've now secured a discount from £99 to £95!!! Not a lot but every penny counts these days.
To get the discount just pay on the javelin website as per normal BUT in the comments box put "Alan's Discount"

You will still pay the £99 for the day BUT when you get their, you will receive the £4 back in cash. It's like their saving it for you so if you turn up and haven't got any money you can still get a few brews and a butty!

Let me know if you want to come. Their is a list of attendees below. Let me know when your booked and i'll change your name to BOLD for hotel booked and RED when the trackday is booked.

**ATTENDEE LIST HERE**

Ask and ye shall recieve!

Got an email back today saying if we get 5 deffinates we can have the day for £95 each.

I know it's not much but at that time of yeah the companys make next to nothing on the days.

I'm waiting to find out more detail on how i book us all in and how the 2 that have already paid get their 4 quid back.

Can you all have a good hard think and pm me if you a deffo so i can send a list of names if needed.

I'm up for this, it's far enough away I should have the car properly sorted by then and it being my local circuit it's about time I did my first track day! Fair play on sorting the group booking, if there's a deadline for getting that in I might miss it as I need to wait for payday but £99 seems cheap compared to what some organisers are charging for Anglesey!

Is it likely to get any cheaper or more expensive closer to the time?

Any last minute jump in's? It's this coming Sunday!

The snow won't be an issue as it's meant to be stopping over the weekend PLUS the tracks that close to the sea the salty air stops the snow.

If it was during the dry season then I might consider thinking about it. Too far for me to go for it to possibly be wet.

Hope you have a good time

It'll be fine mate. Plenty of run off if you get it wrong Not much to hit if you do go off either.

I'm REALLY looking forward to it now. Just got a few last bits to finish on the car tomorrow and i'll be sorted
