Hope to get it to look as close to this but on a budget, and not made from carbon.
Looking for a cheap alternative material to carbon fibre that i can cut a splitter shape out and add the splitter edging and ties bars to make it look nicer.

Just use plywood and paint it black.

tbh the canards would be the more effective option on a saxo

They will be more efficient than a open floor splitter

I currently have moulds being taken for front splitters, You have a fibreglass or carbon option. here is a photo of the front splitter fitted to my car:

Well the mould has been taken so these will be up for sale shortly, this is the first thing I am doing, but there is also a 106 tailgate getting done aswell then eventually my rear diffuser/floor pan and a few other things.

This looks spot on! how much are you charging for each?
The canards would look great with this too.

Would wood be a bit fragile?
For instance, would it actually load up the front end or would it break/snap/splinter under the air pressure?
If not, it works for me, as wood is cheap

Plywood is used on a lot of track/race cars, it is easy to work with, cheap to make and cheap to replace. My mate is building a splitter/flat floor/diffuser out of aluminium composite (basically layered ally and plastic) so that's something else you could use if you don't fancy using ply.

Will put prices up once first ones are made, i.e first fibreglass and first carbon to show you the quality etc.

We use plywood template splitters on the RSR when we are at tracks with high kerbing that needs to be attacked during qualifying. then return to the carbon one for race. Haven't had any failures yet
