Is there any benefits to fitting sound deadening to the roof? I was thinking it might reduce rattles but the anti vibe stuff claims to keep the car cooler in summer. Anyone have experience of this??

They do have a benefit but unless you have big bass i wouldn't bother, proper sound deadening is quite expensive. I need some applying the interlining of my boot as my rattles like hell. Bass hits everywhere in a car but mainly down the sides so that's were i would apply it. Unless you deadening everywhere don't bother just do the boot were the bass will hit first.

You could always use builders flashing tape as proper sound deadening like dynamat is expensive

I was thinking of buying some and my boots rattles a lot due to my sub as well, let me know if you find any!

I know Halfords sell some but its around £25 for 2 meters??
