Find and old Tshirt and cut it up.
Go to halfords and buy a gallon jug of that turtle wax wash and wax shampoo stuff as its on half price. think i paid £10
Buy a tub of autoglym super resin polish, usually about £15
Buy a clay bar block, usually about £7
You can make your own clay bar solution using hot water and a dribble of the car wash and wax shampoo into the squirty bottle.
I use the old tshirt to apply polish and wipe up the clay bar solution.
Wash the car off.
Clay bar it.
polish it.
You dont need to clay bar every time, but im always amazed by what it takes off. And the autoglym SRP is awesome stuff.
You can do more, but it costs more and you start spending lots and begin to placebo yourself as the car looks no better really.

or leech off a mate who has that gear had autoglym stuff on mine and she's shining well. highly recommend it if you're gonna splash out

no point at all getting polish at the moment, moxys done a good job on it, to maintain that dont need polish just wax, keep building up the wax on it, maybe some sealant.
for tyre shine i just use bumper care or vinyl and rubber care from ag, just nice and black no shine, that thats me i dont like the proper shine look, looks daft when rest of tyre doesnt get done. rubber care just leaves it nice and black like original.
i cant knock ag stuff, thw hd wax is spot on, always use it, i use the wheel cleaner, wheel sealant, interior stuff too, loads of the mf cloths too

Got those now!
Ouch, not good!
I mean essential 'cheap' products.. just to have in the selection.
