Default Power wire fuse

Hi all

Trying to wire my sub in and come accross a little issue with the fuse. Basically the wire's got a fuse built in towards the end that should connect to the battery (end with the full circle), but there's no way i can get the fuse through the grommet. I've been told the fuse should be within a couple of feet of the battery so I presume I can't use the other end?

If fed the wire from the bonnet end through and into the car it'd be an absolute bloody nightmare to do.

Any help appreciated

Dan

You should be able to poke a straight coat hanger through the grommet inside the car, tape your power wire to the end under the bonnet and pull back through from the inside.

If you have a ring terminal on both ends of the wire, cut of the end that will go into the amp, this will make it easier to go through the grommet...

Like what Nick said feed the power lead through the grommet and dont be lazy and run it down the side panels. Also use the battery terminal for your power sorce NOT the fuse box, as you will get more current going irect from battery.

Bloody difficult to access it from the bonnet end though! Will give it a try tomorrow. Noted Morgiee.

Cheers

Yeah passangers side under dash is the easiest mate. best tip is to try and feed it as close to the wiring loom as possible sat in the grommet this is because their will be a small gap rather than making a new hole in the grommet
