Default Roll Cage

Hi have been looking at putting a roll cage in my car for track days. On ebay they sell show roll cages for £150 ish and full cages for £500ish, is the show cage really up to the job if i flip or are they really there for looks

Show cages are for looks ONLY. Depends on what cages you were looking at but I'd make sure you buy genuine cages and not some fake piece of shit. £500 might sound expensive but add more ££ to get the cage welded/bolted in unless you can do it yourself.

I HIGHLY recommend a cage if you plan on taking it on track. From personal experience I would get the cage built especially for how you want it, like I did. I have seen a lot of crashes on track with cars with and without cages and the difference is a write off or not. Or death..

If your handy with a welder custom cages do a full 6 point cage that extends to the front turrets for under a grand.... The omp bolt in ones are very good if you can get your hands on one of them 400quid is about right for one of them

keep your eye out on here or the 106 sites - second hand half or full cages do come up quite often and are usually priced so you make a good saving on new
