brett id really reccomend you got single mass conversion tbh
the vibration is barely notable, just gotta get used to the clutch being a bit snappy

Is that on a mondeo though mate, apparently there is a big difference between the tranny and mondeo?

I'll see what he says. It's going into garage Tuesday to be diagnosed by his mechanic that it is the DMF and then organise with me when best to go in.

Went in on Tuesday and the mechanic said it was the thrust bearing on the clutch so it is booked in for next Monday to have the clutch changed at a cost to me of £0.

Not exactly but thinking about I may see if he has the breakdown on Monday when I drop it in.
He did say that the previous owner spent a fortune on it and always had it serviced etc. Shame he didn't get the injectors replaced first tbh as that is the next thing I will be doing.
Then it's modding time.

I'd stick to bolt on shite like wheels and sideskirts / wings, and leave the engine alone

Lol I won't be doing much to it either way. Mostly cosmetics such as changing bulbs to LED etc.
A little engine modding in the form of I/C upgrade and remap but nothing major.
Want to keep good MPG and plenty of torque.

Why are you replacing the injectors? Wont they cost a fuck load?

I'm not returning the MPG that I should be, a common problem that cause this is the injectors failing or at least individual ones. I am currently getting 36MPG and slowly rising where as I should be getting mid 40's.
Yes very much so, a full set of injectors is around £700.
It's a car I intend to keep as I love it and so would like to get them done. I need an official diagnosis before I make the decision to change them though. Luckily I have a mate who works at Fords.

She doesn't drive it much and ironically for some reason when she drives it (she's a more aggressive driver) the MPG goes up where as I drive it tidy and it lingers.

I wasn't being entirely serious like
On a serious note, if it's slightly better when it's getting a thrashing, iirc if you have or not, but has it had the EGR cleaned etc? Could it just need a good old fashioned italian tune up? Diesel's like a good thrash every now and again!

I know that you bell end!
EGR I cleaned a few weeks back and it's since then that it's been climbing slowly. It had a new EGR valve about 3 months ago so doubt that is the problem.
May be worth me putting some fuel additive through it and see how it goes.

Just run a tank of super unleaded through it, that should clear it
