need to look into this a little more pred
It does sound a good deal though.
There is a way to wire the pc so you don't need the extra plug, you replace the wire that goes into the pc rather than cutting the plug off.
There is a guide on detailing world that looks pretty simple to follow.

this is how to do it without having to cut the plug off, and the metho i plan to use
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=4778
If you cut the plug off then you will find that the plug will drag along the floor when you move round the car etc, this way just seems alot more slick.
I am sure someone was offering a group buy on these pre made so all you had to do was take the houseing off and click the wires in. By this i mean the metal contacts had been clipped onto the ends already.
These are individual prices, and dont include delivery
Transformer £39.99
Extension £9.99
Plug £3.41

cant find the group buy thread but i know what your on about mike
so we would just need a transformer and a extension lead cut the plug of and wire it into the porter cable itself so the plug wont go along the and damage it, would have to see how big the lead is on the actual porter cable
were dod you get them prices from mike??

The lead on the porter cable is pretty short, sure it says on the autopia website.
Will get links to those prices later, think the transformer was from screwfix

cheers mike
well you could still do it with that deal but we wouldnt need a plug really that would be spare, there only about 3 quid to buy anyway like lol, ill have a look on how long the lead is but i would rather have it plugged into the transformer than plugging it into the the extension then the transformer lot easier
