btw, 4pots are lighter than 247mm set ups, so 266's arent that lightweight
although you raise a good point regarding compromise, decent track wheels with good rubber always provide the best solution, and arguably some of the best money spent, especially when cooling is considerd
my track wheels / tyres weigh less than 13kg each. Compare that to a set of the same tyres on vts wheels its a saving of around 20KG in total.
proper lightweight wheels may be something worth considering in the future

a full hispec billet 4 setup is not ligher than a 247mm set up the discs weigh loads purely becasue they are bigger.

thats fair enough
i was only mentioning lightweight wheels as a possibility for the futre in case it was something you'd overlooked / hadnt considerd
the advantage is that you can have a second set of lightweight wheels with grippy tyres for track, and standard wheels with cheap tyres on just for pottering to and from college

Nah, it's not too bad really. The single door bar is high enough to be of use and easy enough to get into. It's just people who have never been ina race car of any kind that will have to get used to it.

Thanks, such a good day. Got lots of things to do now at least.
6 months is a piss take really. tweeks should have taken a deposit. I was really happy with their customer service on the whole matter though. And used the situation to get my harnesses renewed
