Default fitting new rear speakers five doors

1. unplug negative lead for the battery terminal

2. undo the 2 T20 bolts holding the door panel in place


3. prise door panel off ( dont be afriad to use some force

4. pull window winder off (if it doesnt pop off like mine did)

5. pull out rivits

6. cut cable with retaining clip

7. wire up with new new wires

8. bolt speaker onto door

DONE!!!
i bouth 10cm speakers with out realiseing so i bodged it buy 13 cm speakers to amke an easier job of it
fitting door is the opposite from 4321

i accept no responisbility for your actions to your car. this worked for me and i hope it works for you

sorry mate but the cardboard and the sticky tape will make the speakers sound crap. Cant you take them back and change them for 13cm speakers, also try to get 2 or 3 way speakers as the dual cone speakers are not very good for sound they just make noise. And last little thing you dont need to disconect the battery just dont have the radio on. Please dont take this as a dig as that is not what i am about it just try and give constructive criticism.

yeh mate iv take them down to the shops and changed them now but it was a laugh fitting them lol

Good guide mate, but what about using proper crimp connectors(bullet connectors etc) to join the cables as opposed to wrapping bare wire together then putting tape over the top??? This way everything will be insulated and have a less chance of the speaker shorting out against the door.

i mean yeh that is the best option i made my guide for the average person who has no idea about wiring but yeh guys use connectors if youve got them

you dont need to cut the wire. the yellow box unclips then pull the wires out, it also gives you some nice clips to plug in you new speakers.
