red- live
black- neg
yellow- which i believe to be a dimmer, to go to the sidelights

think i no where ive gone wrong, i connected that to a negitive on the amp, should be on the earth im guessing???

yeah mate connect the earth up to the one down the side, its under the carpet, undo the bolt under the dash, it keeps the dash on and carpet in place, also has a big spacer on it, under the carpet there will be a nut with one or two yellow and green wires going to it, just use that

to show you how much voltage there is on the battery, i got mine due to running a high powered install, keeps tabs on what the battery is doing and makes sure its charging up etc

see i wouldnt take it from the amp, rather take it from a switched live on the ignition, headunit, cig lighter

well its got nothing to do with where the power is coming from because i connected to the battery directly and it still making a horrible buzzing noise though the speaker, i dunno what to do, going to rip it all out and start again tomorrow!!!!

i have that gauge mate i have it wired to my amp to see what power its geting and i have a switch on it too i dont get any buzzing but i did when i tryed putting foot well neons in where have you got that yellow wire wired too? and your red wire?
