Phoenix Gold RSd 1200.1 amp is going cheap on eBay. I use to have PG amps and they were great but they stopped making the Titanium series.

If your after a bit a sub then then the JBL amp and the Pioneer sub or even the SPL Dynamics will be fine. If you were planning a proper system then something else might be the way to go.
That JBL amp is real good value though... can't believe it.

yeah.. well im going for the jbl amp and spl subs because it will give 1k power.. and yet it will still be a high quality bass line passing through them
for £100 you can not beat the jbl amp.. value for money is ridiculously good, and they are quality products too

You're all missing one vital part...
She wants 2 subs...
Therefore she will need to buy 2 "dual 4 ohm" subs, in order to show a final load of 2 ohms to the amp. Then she will need 2 subs which are rated at 350rms minimum, preferably a bit higher.
Then 0 gauge wiring from battery to amp, uprated battery would be a good idea, but not totally necessary, and the big three will need uprating.
Thats how i see it!

Everyone seems to be doing the same thing. Thought about 4x 10's.
Also how many pre-outs has your head unit got.
