Nah, i dont agree with that at all mate, but you're entitled to you're own opinion

Granted they take lot of punishment, but if you were to pump 1600-1700rms into one hcca it would blow, and also, if you were to put too much power into one you get smelly voice coils and then they burn out!

Ive seen one of those w7's take 1500rms all day, and theyre only rated at 1kw. If you powered a hcca with 1/3 too much power it would simply burn out!

yh thats what i want lol. instead of loud bass. more show this time lol. hope a 28hz box will fit in the boot .

i know how to wire it up but rather have it done all properly as im a bodge jobber lol. all ill need doing is the big 3, comps done, and sub wired to 1ohm and maybe the amp setup.

gonna set the amp levels to the maximum power at first then keep it at that level but keep the volume low for a while if you kno what i mean. lol

and ill give you some cash and a pint

Well changing the frequency doesnt change the volume of the box. Only the size of the port.

Its easy as pie to do yourself mate!

Just take you're time, set aside a full day, get you're laptop setup next to you for remote assistance and just plod away at it.

And whatever you do, DO NOT put the settings up full!! DO NOT DO THIS!!!

If you do that you can almost wave goodbye to you're sub and amp! Lol!

lol dint mean full as in all the way round looool/ i meant at like quite high

lol. lpf all way down n the gain about half way or so? or i could just wear the sub in then turn the gain up after a week or so. well box will be 28hz. 2500rms out of this bastard lol. might get a box built by the dc man next week. get 200pounds from college

Who the hell is the DC man? Lol

You wanna get it setup correctly as soon as you turn get it working! Then just dont blast the shit out of the sub for a good few weeks!

Setting it up wrong can lead to all sorts of shit! Like clipping it and burning the coils for instance!

dc man lol. he gets hold of the soundlab subs.amps etc and can build loud boxes!!

thats why i wanted it set up to its maximum power at 1ohm 2500, then just keep it low for 2 weeks or so.

u think my sub would do this to my car on the inside? at 30seconds? need raw bass lol

Haha! That vid is mental tbh!

You wont get the panel flex to that extent, but it will definitely flex! The interior mirror will flap, as will the sun visors and just about everything in the car! Especially if you tune to 28hz! Lol

Wait till you see the wipers go! Lol

Mine leave the window and just hover, and thats with just a single 12" running from 1.5kw tuned to 30hz!

You will have to be carefeull not to blow your windscreen out!

im scared off the back screen poopin out as the sub will be facing directly up? thats what im concerned about? think i might just get tons of tiger seal and seal around the windows lol.

hope the sub sounds good when its in /28hz defo! want the screen to flex a bit at least lol. doubt the screen will pop out? lol

my 2 alpine type r's used to make the screen shake,but not much, ucould see the wipers rattling and moving. but i want pure spl for this orion setup i have got. just pure show.

The bloke who had my sub before me crakced the windscreen in a honda jazz! And thats just a single 12".

It will sound awesome! But its all down to the design of the box mate!

All you're money is lying in the hands of "Mr DC"! Cus if he makes a crap box, then you're sub will quite frankly sound shit!

I'd love to have something crazy in my car, but i dont want to sacrifice the performance by weighing the car down! I'd like to have 6 GT4's in a wall, but its just too heavy!
