kinda thing where the o's are the subs the brackets are the boxes and the equals is an area of recessedness big enough for the amp to sit in!

That little illustration just looks like a pair of breasts to me... stereotypical bloke thought! but yeah I know what you are describing, would have to be a small amp to put in the middle! remember within reason the bigger the box compartments the better it will sound as a rule! and the less likely to blow apart the glass fibre...

Oh ok well, take a piccy when its daytime and post soon, not really worried about the raindrops in the back ground!

Well I finished it yesterday, its carpeted all over, inside and outside, I did take some piccys before I carpeted it I think and il see if I can upload then tonight! the edges where I had fibreglassed over the wood stuck out due to extra thickness but used filler to blend it in a bit and I looks fine now!

I think my box is alot larger than yours, not as professionally done but Im well happy with it! sounds good!
Ever considered doing a quick guide for amp glass fibre instructions? not for me, but for other members!?

[QUOTE=liam_b;2724435]liking that whats your next plans for the car?
Cheers Liam , at the mo im working on a centre speaker build for a 10cm component and single tweeter, its not for 5.1... its because the tiny speaker that comes with the nokia bluetooth car kits are crap and I thought a component would give alot more volume and clarity! its only a quick mod to be honest, more functional than asthetic!
Then I think I might do something about the faded front grill! cut the fins, fibreglass it flat and mesh it with ss mesh and spray black to keep it subtle!

I would have made myne bigger but I wanted to keep the weight down, so used as little MDF as possible, is yours pretty heavy id imagine? bet it would be a bugger to steal unlike myne! lol
