Default Toad alarm goes off when it wants?!

My toad alarm has been playing up, usually i would lock the car using the green toad alarm fob, however recently when iv done it this way it makes different amounts of beeps when it locks each time (ranging from 1 to 6 beeps) and most worryingly the alarm goes off after about a minute.
So as it stands im having to lock the doors with the standard black saxo fob, and then using the toad fob to unlock the imobilisor on the engine

Any ideas what the culprit is?

Matt

if you alarm sounds when you arm it it could be down to a faulty pin switch. check that the pin switches on the doors are not rested and that the bonnet pin is beeing pushed when the bonnet is closed. also check the boot switch.
