tablet pc

i was looking into getting one of these for general browsing of the internet rarther than useing the main pc all the time obviously the ipad is the most well known one however from what i know about it its to much like a iphone and would be far to restrictive to be usefull especially when you look at the price of it, anyone got a ipad alternative ? i have seen some with windows 7 and android and i would imagine these are much better than the ipad imo

If you already have a laptop, and a smart phone, then unless you have money to spare, then i wouldnt bother.

Obviously if you do have money you dont need then go for it. Otherwise i would much rather save the money and use my laptop or iphone.

i know what you mean but my laptops screen is abit picky if i try and move it abit it will go black and i have to shut the screen down and open it again so it goes back to the log in screen and it restarts the screen so was really thinking of one of the tablets to use for general use but id still have lapy to use for things it couldnt do like downloading etc and iphone isnt big enough for that kind of use
