Default Forza Horizon.

Never owned the first one but might get the second, is it necessary that i play the first, and its horizon actually as good as everyone says it is?

Forza Horizon was good but the open world aspect of it was still quite restricted as you could only go where the game had been programmed to let you. If you was to play Forza Horizon then play the new Forza Horizon 2 you wouldn't go back to the first title.

The new Horizon is real open world were you can thrash a Lambo through a wood at night or plough through a poppy field in a Bowler. The online races are great to with a mix of road and off-road racing plus team events and a couple of party games of King(where you have to tag the King then avoid being tagged by anyone else to win) and Infected which is a good laugh.

I will give you one tip though regards winning consistently on the online mutliplayer. It's not about placing first all the time, though it does help. I've won many of the online championships just by careful driving, not smashing into objects, linking drifts, jumps , draughting and sensible overtakes to build massive Xp skill chains which is how you get to the top of the leaderboard. The most Xp you can build is what gets you to the top of the leaderboard, not the most victors.

Just beware of the usual Destruction Derby brigade that frequent the lobby's and try and wipe you out on the first bend.

I thought the first one was a massive let down, new one looks more promising.

I quite enjoyed the first one but it did feel quite linear.

Need myself an Xbone so I can get into a few races / Fifa matches / COD Games
