Depends what you've got to start with. What type of 8v have you got?

With vts box iv got best of both worlds low end power shorter ratios. I'm looking for about 130 bhp similar to 205 gti, the 16v root will involve messing around with electrics which I wouldn't know where to start tbh. Plus they are hard to source a good low miler for reasonable money.

I'd say you'd probably fall short of your target horsepower with your shopping list to be honest, but it's all relative guess work until the dyno day.

I get your shopping list (for new items) to be about £1,000. Mapping taking up half of it and not including labour for fitting it, unless you can do it.

I think suplementing the above with the bike throttle body kit might get you there, but that's another £800 or so on top!

I've never owned and tuned a VTR though, so it's only based on old skool estimates from posts over the years.
